Well, the truth of the matter is that if charity is forced then it isn’t charity, it is a tax and in some cases outright theft. When businesses, even casino operations are left to their own choices most will make the right ones. Giving comes easy to many people as long as they are in an environment that is conducive to true giving. Being obedient is important so if an individual or a business is told that they have to give, then of course they must do so. But, it is not charity no matter how you spin the words.
Those who feel that casino operations are greedy should really take another look. Yes, most operations are required to share their revenue like this but when people see the numbers it can make those who dislike gambling think twice.
